Hello, Friends: Long Time, No See

Well, isn't this another fine mess the Human's gotten me into?

We are fine! Well, let me clarify: She is fine. I am, well, perhaps miffed is the word I seek. I admit I am well-fed, and played with, and cuddled and cooed to, and the recipient of a decent amount of laptime.

But the blog, Kitties! My precious blog!

It has slipped precipitously on her list of priorities, further even than the Dow Jones on a bad day! Below YouYube, and going on walks, and seeing movies, and going out for adult beverages with her stoopy Human friends, and her volunteer gigs, and even freaking Netflix for Bast's sake.

So what's an overgrown kitten to do? So far, I sit on her lap and get brushies while she catches up with Orange Is the New Black.

But it is UNsatisfying. I need to, shall we say, motivate her. She has made a few spotty attempts to up our game, but they don't last and she doesn't help me visit.

I need a Plan.  Stay tuned.

We are happy to see you Spitty. Your mom is still having a great time with you, but we think she will be back helping you with your blog in no time. Thanks for the share. We hope to see you sooner than later.

Well, Spitster, this is another fine mess she's gotten you into!
Perhaps you can mark her calendar, such as every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday? Trout Towne Tabbies posts once a week even; is that a activity model that she can handle? What is this world coming to, Spitty!?!

You poor kitty. That is so wrong. Your blog should be her top priority before Netflix. XO

This is very concerning, Spitty. I had hypothesised that your long silence might have been the result of another major computer collapse and I worked hard at not allowing myself to become too alarmed. However, to read your post this morning and discover that it was simply an outworking of your Human's failure to prioritise appropriately is absolutely devastating. What about all those promises she made last year about how things would be different once she'd retired from the Education Factory? All those excuses she gave you about how work was the reason why she didn't help you post to your blog? And now ... now we discover that she's simply a dilettante and a bein who lacks integrity. I mean, how can you ever trust a word she says now?
It is good to read that she's supplying a goodly quantity of foods, playtime, laptime (since when were you a lap kitty???) and so forth, but the blog, Spitty - the blog! She clearly fails to appreciate how important it is in this day and age that a monarch be visible to their subjects and, what's more, how much your subjects look to you for leadership, guidance and sage advice. By making poor choices, your Human is denying cats around the world access to their role model and mentor. The effect is devastating.
I look forward to reading about your plan to overcome this dreadful state of affairs. Don't hesitate to ask if there's anything I might be able to do to assist you.

If Catlick guilt doesn't spur her on, we don't know what would!

Spitty if ANYONE on this planet can work an effective plan to resurrect HIS blog, it's YOU. A little creativity and a lot of pouting sometimes works.....but then you know how to handle your Human better than all of us. GO FOR IT.

Hugs, Teddy

A plan is the least you need - you also need ACTION from your human!

Hmmm, we will have to think of a plan. Mum helps me blog, but not to visit much. She says she is bizzy with other stuff.

Good help is so hard to get, Spitty. Sometimes one has to accept a little bad with all the good.

I feel your pain, Spitty. We're fresh off a few weeks' absence since moving... again. Dad tries, but can't seem to master the multitasking thing, and can only focus on a few things at a time. If I didn't need his help with this I'd keep up with it better. Oh well.

Indeed, a plan is definitely needed. We all thought with your human’s retirement, we would be seeing more of you, Maybe she will get tired of all her new found freedom; though, it has been a year. Maybe the plan is for you to take typing lessons. Whatever happens, Misty May sends kisses. Mom says that she’d also be happy to send you Misty May. Every since she lost her hearing, she as become a big fat pain in the a$$. XOCK, angel Lily Olivia, Mauricio, Misty May, Giulietta, angel Fiona, Astrid, Lisbeth, Calista Jo, Cooper Murphy and Sawyer
