Sunday Selfie:
Why Don't You Come Up and See Me Sometime?

Happy Sunday, Furiends

Yes, I know today's selfie is from the same set of pictures as my last post (just a couple days ago, I say with a certain amount of pride. I didn't even have to make her bleed, either--well, not much anyway). And honestly, I think I look very fetching here--what LadyCat could resist this face? (OK, I know, I know. There must be one somewhere!)

So it's been pretty quiet around the castle lately. That whole knee thing kinda blew up after our last November post -- stitches got infected, turns out there was a small fracture, and some bone spurs got shattered (hurray for that last item!) She was popping antibiotics like candy. And of course she used it as an excuse to be pretty uncooperative with my very reasonable requests.

Anyway, here we are, locked down once again as the virus rampages through the Bay Area, praying that all the scary Human political nonsense comes to an end, and hoping for the vaccines to get here ASAP so I can get her out of my house and nap in peace once again.

Spitty, this is a wonderful selfie, and Misty May is blowing you dozens of 💋. It is really tough when our humans are ailing, especially when you only have one. We pray that Mom Mary is A-OK very soon. We are so sorry for another lockdown. We have curfews and other cw@p. Mom is pretty happy not to live in California anymore; though, most of her and dad’s families are still in the area. We all send healing purrs to Mom Mary. Take good care of each other. Thanks for being a hopper. XOCK, angel Lily Olivia, angel Mauricio, Misty May, Giulietta, angel Fiona, Astrid, Lisbeth, Calista Jo, Cooper Murphy and Sawyer

Spitty - I'm concerned about your Human. Do wish her a very speedy recovery from me. And when you pack up your stuff to come and live with me, you should probably pack her too and bring her along. Australia has virtually no locally acquired Covid cases any more (I'm talking one or two per day across the whole country); the only new cases we're seeing are people who have flown into the country and are in quarantine for a couple of weeks - bringing the virus with them. So, I think you and the Human would be much safer here. And we've got kangaroo meat - I'm sure you'd love it for lunch!

So the knee is her excuse again Spitty??????? Is that your bestest "come hither" look for all the ladycats around? I bet it works like a charm.

Hugs, Teddy

I am sorry your Human has had complications with her knee, and hope the antibiotics have worked their magic and she is now on the road to recovery.
We came out of lockdown on December 2nd and went to tier 2 restrictions. That basically means amongst other things no mixing with other households indoors and no more than 6 outdoors. It doesn't make much difference to us because we have been doing that all along to try and keep safe.

It's SO stressful for the humans right now! I think my human is about to explode from all of it. She is doubling down on the isolating until after the holidays.

We send purrs for the Humans Leg. That can be difficult and they can throw furballs from those meds. Ugh. Yes lets vaccinate THEM so they know what its like every year!

Wait, what? Did I miss when your human messed up her knee? What happened?

You certainly have your paws full with your human, Spitty (although our mom says she hopes she heals quickly and feels better soon!). And we don't know about any lady cats, but our mom would be slobbering kissies all over your little face!

Hi Mr Spitty! We are here to add our healing purrs to yours - for your human. It is awful (for us cats) when they are not well. We are the ones who are supposed to be catered to NOT THEM!
Infections are NOT fun! Mom had a bone infection (from a Marv bite - twice) and it totally thrashed her. Its a good thing we are living in a teenie tiny village through this Covid plague!

Things have been quiet in a LOT of houses lately while the Beins are holding their breth for several reasons. First, that Trumpy guy wont just settle down and pack his stuff to prepare to move. Second, it is Holiday Time and most people cant travel to friends and family. And everyone is waiting for their time to get the Vaccine shots.

But the Sun WILL shine again, better Beins WILL be in charge again soon, and eventually the Beins WILL stop getting all sicky...
