Spitty's Eating Disorder

Happy Toozday, Kittehs!
So, just because I love to chomp on the leaves of this delicious plant, and then bomit them up again afterwards, the Human said the other day that she thinks I might be "boo-lee-mik." As if!
Purrsonally, I think it's because she watched Black Swan this weekend.

Better than a Golden Globe!

I am so thankful to Gorogoro & Nikoniko for this Nifty Award:

The Human and I both love their blog! In fact, that is one of the few matters upon which we do agree. We think they tell the best, most entertaining stories, and it's always a good day when they make a new post!

So now I am supposed to tell you FIVE things about myself. Hmmmm, how to choose, how to choose. Well, okay, here goes:

1.  I am unhappy about the few lighter-colored furs on my Mancatly chest. I really wish I were ALL coal-black. Someday, I might ask the Human to color them for me.
2.  I hardly ever dive UTB anymore when someone comes in. The Human calls that progress; I say it's just too much trouble.
3.  I wish the Human would call me Sir Spitfire instead of Spitty-the-Kitty sometimes.
4.  I love Gerbers, half & half, and Whiska's Pacific Albacore Tuna, but I lubz my pink brushie best of all.
5.  Secretly, just between us? I'm kind of starting to like my Human.

Finally, I'd like to share this Award with the OK Cats because I love Zoe and Fuzzy (even though I still harbor just a tiny grudge about not winning that tummy contest), and Flock O'Fuzzies because their blog is so great and because their Mommy was so very brave and wonderful in rescuing some kitties the other day!

Shocking Development

Kittehs! Look! Just look! For the verreh first time last evening, I reconsidered my relationship to my Tunnel. Perhaps there IS no Tunnel Monster? Perhaps I could have fun in there?
Or, perhaps this is the only time I will ever play in it, MOL! (Sorry for the uneven quality of the pictures--the situation called for hasty photography.)
Can you see me there, waaaaaaay at the far end?
Here I am! Pausing casually halfway through!
A close-up of my emergence!
And look! The return trip!

Caturday Complaint Department

Furriends: Lend me your frootbats!

I, Spitty-the-Kitty, wish to lodge a formal complaint with Mother Nature regarding this ridiculous RAIN. I mean, you know I hate the hots worse even than being picked up (::shudder::) but, really, enough is enough!

Item the Second:  Human, can you please go to the store? I know you've had a long week, but I am down to one (1) can of my favorite tuna flavor and it's making me nervous. Just get in the car and go already! (No, you will not melt in the aforementioned rain.)

Finally, we need to start visiting my friends on a more regular basis. You know I have trouble with the keyboard, and yet where are you when I need a little help? Oh that's right: You're at work, or visiting your friends or doing the laundry or reading or some other damn thing. It's time to get your priorities straight! Kitteh first; then all that other stuff!

Consider the Lowly Jar

On the surface, a mere decorative item atop an unassuming little chest:
Ah! But once the lid is removed (::cue music::)....a veritable treasure trove of small toys being imbued with the intoxicating scent of Valerian root. It's so strong, the Human keeps it in a plastic bag that is only opened the eensiest bit. Although I find the scent delightful, the Human says she does not want the whole room to reek of Eau de Stinky Feet.
And finally today, on a completely unrelated matter, I was STARVING when my Human came home this afternoon! Do you see the empty breakfast plate? Usually I don't even eat all my breakfast till like 6:00 p.m. and I don't get my dinner till maybe 9:00. But today? Even the Human could see I was all fainty with hunger so I got an extra portion right away. Some days, she IS observant..

PeeEss:  Ha ha ha ha! Sorry to mislead you. My Human does NOT scrapbook! No, no, no--someone ELSE scrapbooks and invited coworkers to contribute a page to a couple of books for some Humans who are retiring from her school. The Human stumbled through a store called Michael's, spending a ridiculous amount of green papers on an equally ridiculous excess of materials to try and make her two measly pages. It was pretty hilarious to watch as she struggled to cut out little things and place them artfully upon the page and glue them down without making too much of a mess. Sad, sad, sad--yet almost more entertaining than Bird TV!

Spitty Sees What You Did There

Watching out the bedroom window. Doesn't my tailio look floofy?
Keeping on top of the sidewalk action.
The Human needed a lot of snoopervision of her pathetic scrapbooking efforts.
She had to make a couple pages for some people at her work that are retiring. Thank Ceiling Cat she doesn't have to do such things very often. It was 'zawsting just watching her!

Tub Time

Well, and what have we here?
Is that a spidey I spy up yonder? Mmmm, crunchy!
Uh-oh. You're not gonna get all grabby, are you?
See ya!
