meow LOUDLY in their face and sit on everything they go near and flick them with your tail and go to knock over things (like lampshades) while they are watching or go to bite a telephone cord (that always works for us!.) Always have your toys nearby. Love Darcy and Bingley xx
We have the same problem with Mommy! We've tried to show her how much we want to play by dragging the toys out but that only made her put them in the wardrobe. *sigh*
None of the above work for me. Sometimes, when I jump atop my cat tree, she'll stop what she's doing—usually nothing—and play with me. Nothing else works with this slacker of mine.
How nice yous asked our advice! Play with their things, like toothbrushes, unroll all the paper on the rioll in the little warm room then bite it all up! Toes and slippers works too! Kisses Nellie
Everyone has such truly excellent advices, Spitty! Try all of these things one night after the other following another OR you can come and live here part time. Mom will play with us both. xoxoxox
Your human should play with you every day, Spitty! She is breaking a very important Cat Rule every time she fails to do this. She must owe a ton of fines!!!
Meow extra hard. Better yet, if the human is spending time with papers, knock the papers over. If they on the computer, sleep on the keyboard. These simple acts can help encourage the humans you own to play more often and can get the message across! :-)

Spitty, I recommend picking up a toy in your mouth and dropping it at her feet. Then looking at her with appealing eyes.
Sounds a bit like a dog, though.
A little foot whap now and again would't hurt either Spitty!
One would think that the Human's knowledge of how much you love toy time would suffice!
Try reminding her of how wound up you can get without playtime. We think 2am is a good time for that!!
The Florida Furkids and Angel Sniffie
We thinks the Florida Furkids idea is a good one! Small, nippy, biteys might work wonders, too!
Humans don't know it is good for them too!

Hams under glass? Be there.

I dropped my mouse on my moms foot like a squillion times last night to try to make her play with me. Sometimes they just don't cooperate. Rude.
All good ideas! I haf found that bringing mama a toy works best.
You may need to start interviewing for a play assistant.
Spitty
I think you should drag your toys in the sleeping area around 1am and tell her you are ready to play.

If you find out what, let me know--my mom is a giant dud in the play department.
Spitty, does she expect you to play with that feather yourself?? Sheesh!!
Sometimes rolling on my back and waving my paws works and then sometimes not, sigh.
That woman said she got a cold shiver when she heard about Steve Jobs. He rocked!
Taffy and that woman
These dang humans always forgetting playtime!

I'm telling you Spitty, it is mighty hard to train the humans. Even harder when they're older. Good luck.
