Illumination

Thanks to the charming and, ahem, very masculine Nerissa, I have this "Illuminating Blogger Award" to share with you today.
The rules are simple enough: Share an illuminating fact about yourself, and then pass the award along to five other bloggers.
The second part of the task is easier than the first, so here goes. I choose the following LadyCats of Mystery:
Zoey of The Island Cats
Audrey of Simba's Antics
Cathy Keisha of The World's Most Stunning Cat
Binga of Sparkle the Designer Cat
Allie of A Tonk's Tail

But, huh. Here we are now at the Hard Part. As it turns out, I do, in fact, have a rather poorly-kept secret to share with you today and here it is:  I am still a Real Boy.
Now, I know that is not generally considered a good thing. But I hasten to assure everyone that I never but never, but NEVER go outside, and I am a perfect gentleman in the litter box department.
So what's up you may ask? Well, here's the thing: I am so strong and so fast and so wiggly and acrobatic that the Human has in the past been unable to stuff me into one a them troll boxes kitty carriers. I have, however, mellowed considerably since the last time she tried, plus she has purchased a Large New Container. So she is thinking (hahaha--I just LOVE it when she "thinks") that perhaps this summer we might give it another try.

We'll just see about that, Kitties!

Ooooooohhhhhh....so that explains it all! And yeah, that bit of information sure was deserving of the Illuminating Blogger Award!

Waaa! You are NOT supposed to pick Binga! SO not fair!!!!

The one boycat my human had as an adult (coincidentally a black kitty, but shorthaired so not really like you) remained "intact" for far longer than he should have been, but my human was lazy, young and broke and he was indoor-only and never caused any "problems" like you might expect. Eventually she did cart him off to have his operation though.

Hehehe, we like your style! And concats on the Award.

Well, Spitty, that fact sure IS illuminating. Especially because I did not realize even when we shared naps in my Red Beddie. Which certainly shows what a gentleman you are.

Thank you for the award. I will set my human to deciding which of the many illuminating facts about be to reveal.

Pee Ess: that was Audrey in the last comment, not Simba.

Well nothing wrong with being a boy Spitty as long as you are not out making other little boys and girls.
Conga rats on the award. Love your enlightening news. Take care.

You are a real Royal Boy Spitty! Congrats on the award, you really have earned it!

Ivan from WMD said...

So...you could have little royal princes if the opportunity arose? Oh my!

Whoa! I know you shared that fact with me before when we've snuggled. Since you're purrfect the way Cod made you, I see no reason to put you through it now. Love those man bits even if I'm not able to keep my end of the deal.

Thanks for the award. I don't think I can top your illuminating fact but I'll try to keep it interesting.

Oh my... I never knew! That was very illuminating, indeed! Even my sister Constance has been you-know-whatted and she avoids goin' to the doctor like a fish avoids the desert.

And good choices for passing along the award... picking all girls... you'll get a date for the anipalprom for sure!

Oh Spitty! Thanks for passing this award onto me! I feel so special to be considered one of your ladycats. :)

But really, Spitty...you're still "all" there?? That's something! Y'know, I'm a holy terror when I get stuffed into the evil PTU, but I've never managed to avoid it. I can't wait to see what happens next time your human tries to get you in it!

Spitty, Admiral knew all along, didn't she? She told Katie too. We thought it was soooo dangerous. It added to your aura. Like CK, we couldn't keep up our end of things but we like to dream. xoxoxox

When Oui Oui damaged her cornea and had to go to the vets last month, the mom got her in the PTU but she was literally hanging upside down from the grate at the top of the carrier. Boy was that fun!

no wonder you're such a ladycats man... Well, truth to be told, Star was unaltered years longer than she should have been too...

Ok, Spitty, stop reading, this is for your momma. I have had tons of trouble getting kitties in carriers too but now I know a trick. If you dont have a top loading carrier, put them in butt first, they cant use their paws to keep from being shoved in that way. Poor kitties, dont know what to do, but much much easier on the human!
