Starvation

You would not believe what happened to me! The Human went to bed last night without ever giving me my night-time foods! Now, she claims she is not feeling well, she claims she took a sick day today for the first time in two years, she claims it had nothing at all to do with yesterday's travesty of a post.

But, my furiends, I do not believe her! It just seems like too much of a coincidence that she makes that insulting post with a tape measure and then, just ever so innocently and conveniently, forgets my dinner! This is an Outrage of the First Order, perhaps not quite as horrifying as last August, but certainly right up there in the Top Five.

Thank Ceiling Cat I got my breakfast! And not a moment too soon, either. I was all fainty.

Spitty, so we assume you woke her in the night to let her know about the lack of bedtime snakkies? You DIDN'T? Well, then.

brokenteepee said...

You mean you don't have any snax hidden? Work on it Spitty. Hide them under the couch!

Spitty, call out your royal guards, then OFF WITH HER HEAD!

Pat Hatt said...

That is quite the coincidence, I call foul there too. Go leave something in her shoe

You better come over here, Spitty. The peeps are rationing money but I'm sure they wouldn't mind another mouth to feed.

Ivan from WMD said...

This is terrible, bro. You need to come here where the food is ALWAYS flowing. Yeah, my mom threatens to put me on a diet, but come on. Do you think Screamoline would tolerate one morsel less or one of those "lite" concoctions? Pft.

Yep, you're all skin and bones over there, Spitty. This definitely gets the Mom demerits!

The Florida Furkids said...

That's soooo wrong!!! We think she should give you double tomorrow!

Dood, if it happens again, just plaster yourself across her face while she's trying to sleep, and meow every 2.3 seconds. She'll get up and feed you. I know this from experience.

Summer at sparklecat.com said...

My human could never forget dinner around here - not with Binga reminding her in her loud, naggy meow voice! Did you just sit there and say nothing, Spitty? You know you are supposed to keep humans on their toes!

The Furries of Whisppy said...

Why didn't you climb up her bed and give her biteys all over until she fed you? Or you could have sung to her endlessly at the door until she shuffled out to feed you...sick or not. ;)

The Cat Guy said...

if there ever was a reason to have an accident on the bed, this would be the time. Maybe, around where the human rests her head. Goodness, poor kitty.

Oh heavens! No din-din!? That's it, you need to send a formal protest to the king! Oh wait.. you are the king! I guess it's up to you to met out the punishment.. Poor starving baby, I hope you have the strength to carry out your decision!

Star says: Hang on Spitty, I'm going to give your mom the hissing of a lifetime! We cannot have the king wither away to nothing!
And now, on to other matters.. Were you volunteering to be one of those minions? Because I really do need someone to rid me of that troublesome furball..
Purrrr XOXOXOXO

We are duly outraged and would send our usual peemail of disrespect to her, but you are too far away!

Humans are so self absorbed!! Think of no one but themselves! It's a trial to have to live with them sometimes! But we cope, because we're troopers! I mean I go to all the trouble of bringing my Staff her breakfast in bed this morning and all she did was scream and go and bury it!!! All the thanks I get!! Your pal Austin :)

PeeEss The Staff says to tell your Staff that "Me and my Shadow" has been like a worm in her head too!!!???

Me and MY Shadown are gonna be strollin' down the Avenue if we see another reference to that earworrm!!! Arrrrgggh!

As Queen of Tennessee and neighboring Lands, I command that you be fed your night time fuds and your morning fuds. That the King of California (N) was discommoded (I made that word apart from its usual meaning and spelling up, I'm Queen after all) is indeed an outrage of the first order! Feeling fainty should bring about swift retribution on your part toward HER.

Notes to my fellow Full Tilt Diva:
Of course it was deliberate.
Thank Cod you got your morning ration.
This is where having another (scapecat) would help.
NOW you know why treats are so coveted-even if not immediately eated.
Next time, tunnel on over for some noms here. I'll keep some extra for ya.

Spitty this is horrible! I think its human decided that you need to diet.

Oh no! That is totally not acceptable! You should never go hungry. Glad you got breakfast at least.
I hope your human gets well soon ... so that she can't make excuses :-)

Cat and DOG Chat With Caren said...

that is completely inexcusable!!! Geeze...just tell her to cut down the portion, NOT skip a meal! Maybe her illness affected her brain? Hoping she is feeling better...and FAST!

Poor Spitty. We think you are looking a little gaunt, but we are sure your mommy isn't trying to starve you. The humans are not as smart as us kitties and sometimes they mess up.

Oh my goodness Spitty, you are gonna starve!

Heavens to Murgatroyd! Call in the FBI! CIA! AARP! MAACO! (oh wait, not that - only if she snores)

SPITTY you look like you're all skin and bones. Missing a meal will do that to you,y'know? You've got to eat and eat on time. This sounds very suspicious to us too. Ummmm....

Oh yeah, we get really bad and jump on mum when she forgets our overnight crunchies. She gets no peace in her sleepy spot.

Spitty, you just wait. The next thing you know she'll be stuffing you into your PTU and hauling you off the the evil vet for a weigh-in. Trust me...it's only a matter of time.

Concerned,
Katie
