Zebra Boy Ignores Your Miseries

Yes, Kitties, Spitty's had just about enough of this twaddle about kindness, and care, and compassion. The Human's had quite enough time to  pull herself together and get back to work, for goodness sake.

Surely she can't imagine I'm going to tolerate having her here with me all day long, everyday, wrapped in her ratty baffrobe, drinking Wal-tussin straight from the bottle and monopolizing the remote. Nope:  It's Not Going to Happen.

You know what today is? No? Well, I'll tell you:

It's Independence Day.

Don't say that, then aliens might come down and try and take you away.

Um, "independence" is great as a theory, but remember who has the thumbs...

Who's gonna feed da kitty, eh?

Angel Prancer Pie said...

Zebra kitty please be careful. Meals on Heals (that's what we call our Mommy) might forget to buy cat food or dish it out! Cod forbid!

Ivan from WMD said...

ZEBRA BOY! Ha ha ha ha!!!

Now, Spitty. Certainly you can't forget that she does feed you, right? And flu can take like half a cat life to go away. Plus, what are you going to do if she decides to not work any more and is home all the time? *Then* what? She could be all "William, you have dust on your head" or "William, you have a toy on you" or "Russell, don't bite your brother until he squeals."

OK, maybe not "William" and probably not the last one either, but be warned anyway. *Somebody* always winds up crying. CAT UP!

Go for it. Independence is great. We think it'll last about, 6 hours until you come pleading for the Help of Thumbs.

We callin yur bluff Spitty. If your Human was five minutes late getttin home from day hunting you would be cryin like a baby that your starvin'.
By the way, those strips look like a bad acid trip from the 1967.,, anyway, they are not flatterin to yur pearshaped physique and ya know it's a bad look when Spitty can't carry it off. Maybe you could send a pic. to MSNBC and get a gig on those friday night Prison shows...if yur stripes were running in the right direction HAHAAH MOL!

We thought maybe you stopped commenting cos Ms. Stella can be sorta mean but then we just read Ellen's comment so we don't feel so bad now. MOL

Um, let me ask you something, Mr. Independent.. How you gonna open those cans of stinky goodness or chicken baby food jars or even... empty that litter pan? Just askin'... ;)

Star says: Humans can be so inconsiderate.. why do they think they can be sick on OUR time? Be sick somewhere else! I'm on your side, Spitty, no matter what my mom thinks..

Like your stripes!

Sounds like you have fish to fry and need the human to get out of the house!

Zebra stripes are quite slimming Spitty!!!

Come on...admit you like having your human around 24/7. I dream about it.

Ivan from WMD said...

Ha ha ha, I like the whole interdimensional time travel idea! But you *got* your food. Russell's still wishing.

And yes, all the time. About the only break we get is when she goes out to get a newspaper! It's good I'm such a mellow boy is all I can say.

And just when we're all with you and this independence thing, we remember we can't get into the food container. NO FAIR!

Woot! If she was taking Vitamin D3, she wouldn't be in this mess and neither would you. I realize she teaches a bunch of snotty coughing kids, but really. Um, tahnks for supporting me for Pope even though I did see Mollie's blog.
