A-tisket, A-tasket

I got inside this basket.
Which would not be notable were it not that, until very recently, I staunchly refused to enjoy boxes, baskets or any other enclosed place.
I was a Kitty of the Open Spaces
Lately, however, I have discovered the joys of certain enclosures, and last night when the Human removed the lid of this delightful oasis, I succumbed to its charms.
So far, so good. It has not eaten me.

Such a floofy tail you have, Spitty. That basket must be the perfect place to show it off.

I think that basket is awesome, Spitty! There would be smacky paws over it here!

You look great in that basket. Now it's time for The Woman to offer up all sorts of new and cozy enclosures. Lined with fleecy and soft delights, of course. Heh-heh.

Awwww, you look so cute in there! I wonder if that little operation last year has mellowed you and opened your eyes to some delights previously unnoticed... Sorry to mention it as I know it caused you such pain and indignation.

Star says: OOoo Yes, please, I would love to join you in your basket! There's plenty of room for tiny little me! Perhaps I might even whisper something about the big surprise coming to our house... then again, maybe not, mom is making everyone be very tight lipped about things. But I can share some lickies with you! Purrrrrr XOXOXOX

I'm not a fan of anything enclosed either, but basket looks comfy. Maybe if Mom fixed me something like that I'd reconsider.

Phew we thought you had been placed in Alcatraz for a minute there Spitty.
Have a serene Sunday and let us all enjoy some big easy today.
Best wishes Molly

IT won't eat you (I don't think) unless you have the fragrance of Gerbers on your breath. Then, all bets are off. xxoox

It's about time you discovered how awesome boxes and baskets and things like that are, Spitty. And if they're really enclosed, the human can't get to you!

Boxes, baskets, and paper bags are pawesome! So far, we haven't been eaten by any, either, and we've been trying them a long time. Hopefully yours are as tame as ours.

Spitty that actually looks like a great spot to relax in! And you're doing just that. Well done Sir Spitty, well done!

That looks like a purrfect kitty cubby to us. We'd be fighting over that at our house. But lucky, Spitty. As long a Mom Mary doesn't want to store anything it, you have a brand new nappy place all to yourself. XO, Lily Olivia, Mauriclo, Misty May, Giulietta, Fiona, Astrid, Lisbeth and Calista Jo

It does look to be a very smart basket fitting for a king. It looks like there is a nice soft blankie to cushion the stately bum too.

We are delighted that you have discovered the pleasures of enclosed security! We, fer example, have recently learned to enjoy lounging in our PTUs.

The joys of the basket are numerous. It has multiple uses: scratchy box, bitey box, and cozy, sleepy pad.
