Shopping Trip

So the Human went shopping Friday afternoon, and I don't know whether to be flattered or offended at the contents of this PetSmart bag.

"Picky Cat"? Phhft. Discerning feline gourmet, I should think!

On the other hand, I don't hoover my food down like some Little Piggy Boy.

And do you see the Ambrosial Jars peeping out at right? Now there's the food for a "Picky Cat"!

Just don't let the Human trick you into the onion, Spitty!

(The "Picky Cat" title fits You-Know-Who--scream scream scream...feed me feed me feed me...no, I don't want that. Me, I'll take anything with gravy.)

Well, we have 7 varieties here, but they are 7 of us!

That you enjoy a wide variety of food seems to indicate that you're NOT picky, Spitty!

Our mom has finally narrowed it down to 6 varieties of canned food that we will actually eat. We love chicken flavor and ham flavor Gerber too, but only get it occasionally, because to the grocery store cashier it looks like she is a terrible mother buying way more food for the cat than for the (assumed) baby.

Mommy says "picky cat" is redundant.

She, of course, is crazypants.

It isn't picky. It's just encouraging the peeps to rotate our diet.

Darling, I have always enjoyed repasts there UTB. What's picky? No no no...tis just a variety to suit your discriminating palate.

I know what I want but the peeps don’t want to give it to me. They say I have to eat more than I kind of food in case there’s a recall or the store doesn’t stock my tuna. I say “just buy it, human.” You look like you have the 57 varieties of Heinz in there. MOL!

lol well at least you'll always have variety

Looks like the motherlode to us!! That's what we eat, though mostly only the Classic pate.

Well, we'll try this one more time.

That looks about right to us, Spitty. We have about 6-7 different kinds of foods in our cupboards.

I agree, discerning is the word! If humans want us to eat whatever, they should join us and eat "whatever" too.

Noms are good. :)

Hehehe. No of course we are never picky. Just selective.

Is that a....an ONION in the mix? Ugh.

You're lucky your human caters to your "pickiness". We have 10 mins to finish our food or we'll have to wait for the next meal (we only get fed twice a day). Kinda hard to be picky when she has a heart of stone.

maybe in that case "picky" means you can pick the food what you like? do you like onions too? or is that to chase vampires away at night?

Call it what you will, but we think that looks like tasty treats, but we are dogs . . . .

Other than the classic pate which is grain free we also eat the Chunky Chicken Feast (dark green label) because its nommy and the Flaked Fish & Shrimp Feast (dark blue label) because it is even nommier and it stinks to high heaven. It's all fish and theres even little tiny shrimps inside. It amuses us to watch mom wrinkle her nose when she opens it
mmmmmmmm............!

That is a whole lot of foodables for one kitty, and it appears many varieties. Does Mom Mary let you choose what you want for your meal? We used to get more variety in our foods, but half of us wouldn't eat what was presented. Now we just have a couple of different flavors. Purrlease join us Monday for our 2nd anniversary giveaway. Spitty, are you sure the human hasn't stashed away a few more kitties?

Memories of Eric and Flynn said...

Of course you are not picky Spitty. My mum calls me picky too. Why can't humans accept we have discerning taste buds.
