I Don't Always Care Much about Human Woes . . .
. . . but today I am purring very hard for our friends just to the north in the Santa Rosa, Napa and Sonoma areas, where wildfires are burning homes and shops and businesses and hotels and animal habitats, and anything else in their path. Thankfully, the wind has calmed, but the fire is not at all contained yet. The Human thinks that the pretty road and wonderful little area of Calistoga she visited right before school began might not look the same for a long time. Bless all the firefighters and the people trying to help up there.

Here here Spitty.

We have been purring lots for all those affected by the fires too.
We are very worried too, Spitty. We know that at some time the fires will stop growing and eventually die out, and we can only hope that lives--human and creature--will survive them before they do.
Sendin purrs to everyone there.
I'm right there with you Spitty. We have friends in Sonoma and Santa Rosa. Maryl, in Santa Rosa evacuated with her kitty to a friend's home in Petaluma. The Sonoma friend is still ok. And Mom L loves Calistoga and Healsburg,
We send purrs too - it is horrifying.
So scary and sad.
We add our purrs to yours Spitty, that is very scary.
Dear Mr Spitty,
You are my hero!
Mommy and Kozmo and Jo Jo and Cinnamon and Daddy were in the middle of wildfires a few years ago and it is terrifying. We have been sending many purrayers for the people (and animals) in California! Its too bad that some of the rain from the hurricanes could not be magically transported to dump on the fires that are still burning in the west of the USA and Canada.

I am praying for those affected, it is so sad.
We are sending all our best thoughts and purrs to everyone in those horrific fire paths. Our fall rains began today and we hope some of those make it down there very soon!
Mom's nephew is a captain with the California Forestry Service down near Los Gatos. She hopes he's been able to stay in place. They are a helicopter base; though, so probably not. Praying for everyone. XOCK, Lily Olivia, Mauricio, Misty May, Giulietta, angel Fiona, Astrid, Lisbeth, Calista Jo and Cooper Murphy
