There's none of this 'she'd better be' stuff, Spitty. You know that you can't rely on her. This situation needs your active management. I think it's reasonable to expect her to draw up a list of planned activities and treats and add three items to it every day between now and retirement. That should give you plenty of options. Ask her to use a large sheet of paper, use large letters and leave room between items on the list. That way, the list can be laid out on the floor at the beginning of each retirement day, and you can put your paw on all the things to be done on that day. And gee, if you lie down and stretch and end up covering 16 different items, well, she should consider that to be simply your due!
We'll keep our paws crossed for all that playtime, Spitty. In the meantime, she *could* leave a stick of butter out for you...you know, as a promise of treats to come. Really, how hard could that be?

Oh wow, that will go by before you know it. You could just take a long nap, and Mom Mary will be retired. Concatulations to both of you. XOCK, angel Lily Olivia, Mauricio, Misty May, Giulietta, angel Fiona, Astrid, Lisbeth, Calista Jo, Cooper Murphy and Sawyer
The countdown will hopefully move fast for you. So you must be getting really excited. She will have plenty of time to make delicious treats for you for the whole summer. Have a great day. Thanks for sharing. World of Animals
We was counting the days with you . . . right up until you, offhandedly, mentioned BUTTER. Oh, yes, butter treats every day. You earned retirement, too, dear Spitty!

Count down has commenced.
I hope your human knows that once school's out, her work (as far as you're concerned) has just started!
I bet she has lots of exciting things in store for you!

Your human must be so excited…and probably a little nervous! Baking treats for you, King Spitty, may just be the perfect transition for her!
Just think. She will completely be yours to command. You will have her at your call day and night just as I do my mom.
