Sunday Selfie: A Day Late & a Dollar Short

The Human and I have spent the past four or five days submerged in smoke from terrible fires raging north of us. We remind ourselves that we ought not to be complaining overmuch, as people just 160 miles north are suffering from much worse than unhealthy air.

In other news, R.I.P. new white whisker. It has either turned black or disappeared. I guess the wait begins for a replacement for the replacement.

White whisker - good grief! It didn't last long. I'll keep my fingers crossed that another attempt is made. And soon.

And down south, air quality is bad here too with the other fire. And friends of ours have lost homes.

I hope you have more success with the next whisker!
My thoughts are with all those affected by the terrible fires.

Are you sure your human didn't sneak a little Grecian Formula on it while you were napping? With all that time on her hands now, you just never know what she might do for entertainment.

Your whiskers are clearly not recognizing your kingly authority.

Spitty, those wildfires are very sad and scary.
Maybe that baby white whisker had stage fright, and jumped back inside your face in fear!

Keep your windows closed from all that smoke.

We just can’t believe all the devastation from the fires. Please stay safe, Spitty!

Our thoughts and purrs to all sufferring the horribilistical fires! It all is so bad we can hardly believe it.

All we can do here is hope for an end to it all.

We're happy to hear you are still safe from those awful fires.....but wonder why your new white whisker replacement decided to give up??? Well, all I can say is if it was that wimpy not to want to be part of the Spitster's whisker brigade, then it's just as well. You can work on sprouting a new, stronger, more PERSISTENT white whisker if you try!

Hugs, Teddy

Mom always feels badly when my white arcing over eyebrow falls out. She wants it to grow back in and so far, all of these years I have been here..it always comes back.
