Lend me your Fancy Feast. I think I need to fatten up
a little more before the Ides of March.
Let me have kitties about me that are fat,
Sleek-headed kitties and such as sleep a-nights.
Yond Spitty had a lean and hungry look,
He thought too much; such cats are dangerous.

P.S. Thanks Mark's Mews for Star #2 and Austin for #3. We are linking back to Austin since we has not yet given him one!

To Feed, or Not to Feed?
What a stupid question. Talk about the winter of discontent...
Someone take away your Shakespeare and give you more Fancy Feast!
We were thinking more about Christmas rather than the Ides of March. But now the thought of you with a 'lean and hungry look' has distracted us and we're locking up our food cupboard - just in case you come a-stealing!
Spitty, is that your bum of disrespect for the Bard? Or are you melancholy because you tired of waiting for a snack?
Star says: I here you, Spitty. It HAS been too many days since mom posted or showed a pretty picture of me! She's been whining about a busy weekend, late holiday because her mom, Sir Moose-a-lot's mom, has been in the hospital. As if that's a good excuse.. But there's finally a new post and it's featuring ME! Purrs and scritches! XOXOXOXOXO
And therefore feed his tastes,
To keep him still.
And offer mousies
To satisfy his Will!
King Spitster, let me point out we are delighted by the design of our new beddie! None of your luxurious, infinite expanse of a single colour! We think the skull and cross bones rather fun. Äiti thought it appropriate if, perchance, someone had an accident in the beddie, and also perhaps the design would keep less brave cats away. Remember Äiti is into science things and loves these warning signs. She did put our food in a box with the radiation sign on, but we weren't fooled.
And the beddie was for ME! That's why it is small and cosy. However the ninjas have occupied it since, and then Mirsku decided to give it a stretch. In fact, we can all fit in it (individually) if we wish.
And there is no such thing as a Modesty Tail in our vocabulary! Get used to this with us Finncats - we have saunas and rush around naked in the snow afterwards. Such is life here. Just be grateful Mirsku has been tutored, or you would be soooooo jealous!
Woah Spitty! You are on fire with 3 stars, dude, congrats! You're not fat :)
Cotton

Thanks for the link back :) Does that mean I get another star? Not that I'm begging or anything. After all I'm not a dog!!!
We are thinking you look pretty darn good but it never hurts to have some more calories. Take care and have a great day.

Um, we'll just recommend the treats. LOTS and LOTS of treats. Shakespearian purrs....from the crew at Colehauscats.com
APPAWS! APPAWS! Encore! Encore! (pass us a can!)
Spitty, Sassy here. Hmm, you say in your post that you want "sleek-headed" kitties. How aboout a "furry-butted" kitty just for variety?
Alas, we know poor Spitty. Or something like that.
I asked the lady to dig out a dusty old book of quotations to find some Shakespeare she could mess with. Eh, the only thing she could find food-related was from the Taming of the Shrew and it involved brief discussions of tripe and beef with mustard.
That's all I've got.
I sent you a side of beef AND Caroline. Haven't they arrived yet?
If you want a fat cat, you can have Wally, Spitty. He's been putting on the poundage lately.
Ernie
