Yes, Kitties, my Soft Brown Blankie (SBB) reappeared Wednesday,
just in time for my Thanksgiving Comfort.
It does not quite make up for my abandonment
as the Human ventures southward to enjoy the Big Day
of Feasting and Friendship, but it's a start.
I hope each and every one of you has
a good reason to be thankful today.

You are being ABANDONED?! That is so not fair! Will she being returning with some turkey at least? Fortunately for me, my human will only be gone a couple of hours or so. She is going to a Thanksgiving party - lots of rock 'n' roll and no dreary relatives!
BTW, I did see that red panda video, but just barely - I think I ran across it yesterday! I kinda felt bad for the little guy... but I MOL'd anyway.

So what exactly is this Thanksgiving stuff ? I gather it involves turkey (good) , and more than likely abandonment (bad), so I am still trying to work out the overall effect.
SBB is good. SBB cannot be bad - unless some other cat peemails over it.
BTW, there are emails going back and forth between our humans so I think we might have to monitor them for a while. You never know what silly ideas they might get.

Is that one of those micro-fiber blankies? I have one of those! Well... we do. Peep keeps it on the couch in the family room and we all LOVE it! So incredibly soft. Now, THAT'S something for which to be thankful, huh? purrs
Thank you for your comment - you know this is intolerabel! Surely Thanksgiving should be about giving thanks for having you in her life ? I mean who cares about a bunch of people in silly hats landing on the coast and having a turkey dinner ? You are the King, and thanks should be due to you. I wish I could offer support, but I am with you in spirit. She should, at the very least, bring you back the turkey from her trip. Untouched. As an apology. And she should explain to her host and all other guests why they cannot partake of the tasty birdie.
So the English pilgrims arrived, shared a yummy meal with the native Americans and then spent the next hundred years or so killing them all off ? Sounds usual for humans.
I am so glad I am feline. Someone else can do the shopping.

Dood! I have a blanket that looks a lot like that! I let the Woman keep it on her bed and I nap on it during the day sometimes. But it's totally mine. Even though she bought it at Costco. Mine.

Abandoned? me too! hey! do you fink you can forgive them? i mean, they just rolled back into town and act like I should be happy to see them. get real! and WHO was that neighbor lady who came in to feed me except she never did it quite right and WOULD NOT let me outside AT ALL.
