I Am Weak, Kitties, Weak
I tried to stay mad, really I did, but then there were scritches, and pettings, and soothing words, and the warm sun, and I caved. I'll do better next time.
Spitty, I know how hard it is to stay mad. I was extra extra cross with my mom after this morning's shanghai to the cat fix-it place--I even hissed at her a few times after we got home--but I got over it in spite of myself. I couldn't help it either.
(Oh, and my mom says toilet repair is one of the easiest things to do! She bets your human could do it with hardly any swears!)
Spitty boy, your furs are still rumpled and YOU have announced yourself as being a doormat. Did it occur to you that you could hold a grudge and enjoy scritches at the same time? Your multitasking skills are shameful. But them again, a boys Mom deserves to be forgiven because she has the thumbs and cleans the box. Mom's deserve lots of chances.
Aw Spitty, you held out as long as you could! Who can resist scritches? Sounds like you humbled her first or she wouldnt have added those soothing words, so you're all good!
Star says: Spitty my sweet, I know you think I'm a good girl... but I think I'm about as bad as you. Badder maybe (don't let your mom, the teacher, see me saying 'badder' it might explode head to see such bad grammer!) I do, however think we make a good couple, and would enjoy very much sharing some chickens with you and then some snuggles!
There is no shame in admitting this weakness - after all, it feels soooo good. And it keeps your Human busy and active too. We love the photos - you are such a cutey when you want to be, hehehehe.
Spitty! I am so disappointed in you!!! I can hold out for .... oh ...... minutes!!! The Staff is on probation with me for "blogging without due care and attention"! Like what's a chap to do when she don't get her digit typing more than once or twice a week???
It's better to cave and forgive than to miss the attention you have been craving. We kitties have to prove we are the more evolved! Purrs and hugs from the kitties at www.thecatonmyhead.com, Lily Olivia, Mauricio, Misty May, Giulietta, Fiona, Astrid, Lisbeth and Calista Josette
We back up what Max said! Those scritchies were long overdue. As a serf she is obligated to scritchie the King. We say you were more than patient with her by not tossing her in the dungeon.
I think we need to start a 'scritch cavers anonymous' group. We can have chips that say how many days since our last 'cave'. Someone with mad photoshop skillz should do it. We could have weekly (or even daily) meetings where we say "Hello, My name is Spitty and it's been xxx days since my last cave." 'HELLO SPITTY'. We can have interventions for those kittehs in danger of caving and for repeat cavers we can assign sponsors (That truly must be those who have overcome the scritch addiction for the longest time.
I can start, "Hello, My name is Ms. Stella O'Houligan and it's been three days since my last 'cave'.

Well maybe after your back of shame there won't be a next time, then again those humans never take the hint huh?
It is hard to ignore scritches
What a Mam's boy! MOL!
It's ok to admit your weaknesses. I purrsonally can't resist mom scritches for more than a nanosecond.
If it makes your feel better, both Nigel and Figaro are total momma's boys too!
It's hard to ignore all of that. No one thinks a thing about it Spitty. See ya UTB...how about veal this time? Xxooc
Spitty, life is...um...different...post nardectomy. It's OK to show your softer side! As long as you still give her Ye Olde Clawr once and a while.
We all have our weaknesses. Admitting to them is the first step, Spitty.
; ) Katie
Spitty, it's okay. We woulda caved too.
We are confident that this is a temporary lapse, dear Spitty.
Ha-ha! I can still be mad in spite of such bribery!

Don't look at it as weakness, dood. Look at it as making your person do her JOB as head skritcher...

Yous knows that the more yous gives

Oh Spitty, it is OK to be a nice kitty every now and then, just don't do it often. Don't want to spoil that human of yours. Hope you have a great day.
I think it looks furry comfy with the ear scritches :)
It takes a real mancat to admit to weakness so don't take it too hard.Scritches and pettings are very hard to resist. You did your best.

Spitty, Mummy know best...Meow!
Miss Kitty
Looks to me like you are very, very happy Spitty!
And who can resist that? Neither the royal hehe.
I would have done the same Spitty. Our human's hands are sweet when they give us so many lovingets and scritches
Yeah, it is hard to stay mad when you get treats and lovin's.
At least you made your human work for it a little.
It sucks, doens't it? So hard to stay mad at the ones we love. purrs
We understand, Spitty. And it s okay, dude. It is MANCATLY to admit your weaknesses.
Well, by doing this, the human is just proving that she did something wrong, so you are not weak! Eh.
Purrs
Spitty's going a day without posting??? This is historic! A day without Spitty is a day without sunshine.
Bol can't really blame you tbh:-)
The Spitster FALLS to the touch of a Human Hand!
