Here in Nova Scotia, kids go back the first day after Labour Day, I do believe. That's how it was when my Peep #1 was a little squirt growin' up in Ontario, too. You know, back in the days of ancient times.
The peep says that for her, Labour Day weekend was the last weekend of summer. Kind of a tradition.
Well, we'd never think you had forgiven your human.
Another week and a half and it will be frosh week here, though already the kids are coming back and getting settled in the (private) apartments around campus. Our human says she should have booked frosh week off. LOL.
Spitty - the teenagers need your human's support far more than you do. You are a sophisticated, mature pusscat, and they are only, well, immature, needy beans. And she does come home everyday, so you do have her for most of the time.
Spitty, something tells us that if your human could stay home with you all the time, she would. But she needs green papers so she can buy you food and treats and toys. At least that's what our mom tells us when she heads off to work.
Aaaaw Spitty is bad dat yous hav to be left alone like dat, but when da hoomans go off to work they can afford mowe cool fings and gweat noms and tweats fur us. :) Just demand evewyday when da hooman weturns fwum work dat yous get purrlenty of quality time and tweats. Don't furget da tweats.
They don't have anything to offer, but the paycheck your mom gets does keep you in noms and treats. But we do offer our condolences. We know it is much more fun to have your mom around, and we are sure she would like that as well. Why not teleport over to our house for some fun! Man, I would be happy if the Woman went somewhere to work. The nap quality around here would increase significantly due to the quiet. Plus, that would give me as reason to guilt her into extra crunchy treats.
Teenagers are awful life forms. I don't know how your human tolerates them. Probably has something to do with having to pay for your home, food, and teleporter.

Where did the summer go? Well, the season is still here, but it seems that the calendar pages keep turning anyhow. Not fair at all.
Not fair leaving you for teenagers. I think a good house trashing is called for. That will make her wish she stayed home.

We hate to say it, but the teenagers probably pay so she can buy you treats (however, guilt for having to work may get you more treats!)
