Sunday Selfie: Sleepless in San Francisco Edition

Please, she's driving me crazy, Kitties. Yes, I am a bit under the weather, but understand: She is hovering. Petting me when I am trying to sleep. Putting food under my nose before I am interested in eating. Did you even know there was such a thing as Humans who brush too much? I need my nap now.

Oh My King.......I am one of your minions who hopes that you will be feeling perky ASAP...... not fun feeling icky AND going to the stabby place AND having to have ANYTHING "extracted"............let's hope things shape up soon!

Hugs, Sammy

OH Darling, it's hard to remember right now but she loves you and she trying so hard to make you feel better. All the mom's and dad's are like that. Inquire throughout your kingdom and you will see it is true. Try to tolerate her ministrations and trying to help. Be merciful and perk up a bit. Then she will feel better. Remember, she stayed home for you this weekend. That is a lot! <3 <3 Come on over. I'll give you a bath. I have two comfy beds.

Humans do fuss Spitty, but it is because they love and worry about us. Try and humour her, and I hope you are soon feeling better.

She simply has NO IDEA, Spitty: fusses when you want to be left along, ignores you when you need attention. Looks like another case of your having to be patient and tolerant with the staff. I'm so sorry.

wait - humans that BRUSH TOO MUCH????? Mowzers.

Spitty, You've had quite a trying week. Your human might be trying to help you feel better by giving you lots of brushies, which she knows you love. Hiding in a far-off corner would be a good way to avoid her, but then she might think you're feeling even worse and take you back to the stabby place again, so I don't recommend that tactic. Maybe you can give her a GENTLE smacky paw the next time she bothers you while you're trying to sleep.

Yikes, Spitty. Just feel better buddy, so she can stop worrying about you.

Come on over, Spitty. That's if you don't go to Katie's or CK's house. My humans just "forgot" me in the garage for3 hours, so you can be guaranteed not to get excessive attention here.

Yep, hover humans are bad. But you need to eat and do stuff that is normal and not worry her!

Sometimes hovering is necesssary. The human is prolly just making up for all the Fritzie thingy, you know.

We hear you!!! Our Mom is doing the same right now!!! We like ourselves at our new holiday residence, but we haven't been really eating. So Mom is showing the same behavior as yours. Sigh.

Poor Spitty.. Helicopter-humans may be a pain sometimes, but I'm sure she means well! She wants to make sure you're recovering! So do the rest of us, so I hope you don't mind that we want her to continue to bug you so we know how you are. smooches!

Glitter says: Ok, we've heard enough. Cashmere and I are on our way over. We'll keep you between us and one of us will keep her eyes open at all times so you can nap in protective custody! We'll snuggle and lick your earsies and protect you from over zealous humans.. Ok?
