           Plunder from Down Under

OMC, Kitties, OMC! Just look what came in the mail for me today!
Well, it's **addressed** to me, anyway. It has my freaking NAME on it!
I mean, you can READ it for yourself right there, can you not?
*****
N.B. The fine print
(There's kangaroos in there, Kitties.
But [ut-oh] I don't think they're jumpin' around anymore.)
*****
You might be asking yourselves, "Spitty, my good mancat! What could be more wonderful?"
And you'd be half-right. It *is* wonderful.
But the Human says I can't has them till the weekend 'cause she wants to get
some good pictures in good daylight and yadayadayadablahblahblah
who-knows-what-nonsense-is-coming-out-of-her-piehole-anyway?

Till then, she says, we have the "Joy of Anticipation."
Uh-huh.

No cat, ever, has appreciated anticipation. Give it us now! That was very thoughtful of Megan to send.

Yaaaaay. I'm so glad they arrived, Spitty. I was concerned that the woofies who check for drugs at customs might sniff 'em out and bark and want them and not let them go through to you.

I agree that there can be a joy in anticipation, but only when there needs to be a delay. For example, Christmas is on December 25 and there's no point demanding that Santa comes today. He's not going to turn up until the correct day, so we may as well learn to enjoy the anticipation. But I'm not sure that denying you kangaroo treats until the weekend because the Human won't be able to take good photos until then has any validity whatsoever. There are two packets of treats there, so surely you could eat some now - without photos - and then eat some more on the weekend, with photos? (What is WRONG with your Human that she can't figure that out?????)

I do hope you try the Vegemite. The Human needs to squeeze just a tiny amount - amount the size of a pea - onto her finger and let you lick it off. Many Australian pusscats love it. And if you don't love it, then you always have the joy of smearing it all over the Human's pale coloured soft furnishings - it will be enormously difficult to remove. (LOL)

Oh Miss Megan! You is so right about the border woofies (we has lots of those here). They *did* open up the onderful stuffs. But we guess they din't want no kangaroos or Vegemite so they taped it back up again and sent it on. We guess prolly there wasn't no really norty stuffs in there? Well, if there was, we thinks those Woofie Agents stoled it all! XOXOXO

Well, I could be deceitful and claim that I included loads of yummy treats for the Human and a stack of new toys for you and those woofies stole them but ... the size of the envelope I used would probably indicate that I did no such thing.

Hmmmm! Wonder if we would like kangaroo? Of course, we refused to have anything to do with the venison that my woman tried to feed us. . .

I am pleased that your bundle of goodies arrived safely,Spitty.

Megan has a reputation for doing those sorts of NICE things!
I know, "cause I am her Mum - although she does have a special name for me, and one day we might tell you what it is.

Enjoy your treats! Noela Chatswood (Sydney) Australia

Whoa!!!! What a result. We are intrigued by the Vegemite and we are awaiting the weekend eagerly. By the way, you could try to persuade the Human that waiting until the weekend is like being a 'two marshmallow kid' from that study done way back, so at the weekend you get TWO loads of major treats. By the way, kangaroo is delishus.

Wow, Spitty, how nice of Megan to send those Australian treats! Too bad your human is forcing you to wait for them. Clearly she still doesn't understand that the Cat is the Center of the Universe.

What great goodies from Megan. The kangaroos might not be jumping around anymore, but you might be after eating those treats.

Seriously, Spitty? She's making you wait, just to take some pictures?!? What the hey?!?

Hey Spitty, about that "ownership" thing... Iffen it has YOUR name on it, its yours. If it has someone ELSES name on it and you have your claws on it (or them), its yours. If there is NO name on it, its yours.

Beings, please attention to all that...

Kangaroooooos? You mean those cute little creatures that like to hop around in their Mom's pouches? Those little things? How nice that someone sent you some goodies from "Down Under" !

You're her MAMA??? Wow, you really raised her right! Are you a cat?

Wow, Spitty! What a pawsome surprise! Enjoy that kangaroo...and let us know what it tastes like because we’ve never had roo.

You got something from Miss Megan. I am furry jellous.

Gigi said...

We think if you drop a little hint about how tasty you imagine the hoppy little treats to be, YOU might get some, too. But YOU have actually MET Miss Megan, have you not? So *I* am the one who should be jellous. (I'm glad you are FURRY jellous and not FURY jellous though).

Megan said...

Spitty - no I've not met Ducky. I met Darling Millie and her mom in New Hamster when I was in the USA in 2016. I'm planning another trip to the USA later this year, but ... {sob sob} not passing through San Francisco, unfortunately.

You need to make sure your MAMA reads my reply to her! We don't know if she'd come back, left to her own devices. But I **really** need an answer to my question.

Oh, so Ducky *SHOULD* be jellous then! Good. =(^..^)=

Megan said...

Yes, she really is my Mama. No she's not a cat - I'm not a cat, so it makes sense that she's not a cat. I'll let her know that you've posted a message for her. Thank you.

That sure was nice of your friend to send you such a great bunch of goodies. Thanks to your human on the kind words of condolence she left on my blog for my family's loss. XO

Yes I am furry jellus of Spitty. Miss Megan, where are you going to be when you come to Meriky? Chicago maybe? That is sort of close.

Yeah, she has met Miss Millie, not me. Millie has even visited Miss Megan in Sydney!
