Concentration

I have to grip the curtain with both paws to inflict the maximum damage. Closing my eyes helps me achieve that perfect grip. We need replacements; I want a new challenge.

If you're gong to do something, you may as well do it really well, Spitty. I can see from the look on your face that you're determined to make a mighty fine job of embellishing the curtains. To be fair, I think you've still got a bit of work to do before you could reasonably expect the Human to buy you new ones. So, keep at it.

I'd say while new curtains would be swell, you have a lot of shredding to do on those. Go for it.

Wonder if your human can find curtains made for sisal, and knotted like macrame! Then, she'd have curtains, and you could scratch 'til the cows come home, Spitty!

Recently our Dad has been talking about the need for curtain in the front window. Right now all there is are blinds. Mom had a good laugh. "We've got ten cats with claws, and you want curtains?" After she got finished laughing, she suggested a compromise. Leave the blinds and put up a valance. That dang valance is waaay high off the ground. Out of claw range. But we have a baby brother named Rabbit who's pretty sure he can smack that lacy stuff off the rod. Just waiting for the pawrents to leave the house before he tries.

Great effort and concentration, Spitty. You have to give those curtains your all.

In ancient times cats were worshipped as gods; they have not forgotten this. More at this site.
