We understand that Picture #2 is, perhaps, just a wee bit out of focus, but I think it portrays perfectly both the ecstasy of the brushies and the agony of the requisite lap-sitting, which is so contrary to my nature.
An unexpected bonus in Picture #2 is the evidence of crumbs from her snack. She could at least have cleaned them up before my photoshoot. So lazy!

you guys are so weird about that brushing thing. That Woman has to hide the brush and even THEN if she dares get a human hair brush out Miss Jengs & Miss Jack are all over themselves meyowling & drooling!
Glad you enjoy it. I only barely tolerate it; She has to hold me with my front paws off the ground so I don't escape . AND she say's I'm the worst one! One brush swipe and the brush is FULL! *sigh*. Hope it's not today. right now I've got a giant rat trapped under Her nightstand and Miss Jengs & I have come to a detente sitting in turn waiting for it to come back out again!

You're not really lap sittin' just sittin' on her...fur brushings it is allowed and shows no signs of weakness.
Oh, I love lap-sitting time. Billy at our house does it so well. In fact, I sometimes think I'm a magnet...as he just sticks there.

Brushies are the best reason ever to sit in a lap. And we must say, dude, that you say your mom is neglecting you, but you have a LOT of posts up. If your mom is neglecting you, then our mom should probably be in jail!!!

Spitty, the only one here that likes brushing is Zoey...and she likes to chew on the brush! We always thought she was a little weird.
