(Still) Not-a-Garden-Tour #5

So, the students at the Human's school had a little art exhibition. (Disclaimer: The Human teaches many of these students....but she does not teach them ART, MOL! If she did, you'd be looking at stick figures and play doh!).
The Human liked these hands quite a bit. She thought the spatter looked very restless and the music and the plastic rosary were calming. She does not know why only the blue spatter appears on the hands.
These were very festive, plus there were four (like me!) They remind the Human of the henna designs Indians sometimes paint on hands.
These are made of corn husks. Huh. Who woulda thunk of that??
An origami mobile. I'd like to play with THAT all right, but the Human says, "No chance, Spitty."
The Human liked these two masks. She's a little puzzled about the lack of eyes on the blue & green one, and I think the Día de los Muertos one is a little unnerving.

The Human liked this a lot although she has no real idea what it represents. It had a lot of interesting colors and textures and things on it. You can't tell in the picture, but it was hanging free.
This was her favorite piece in the show. It's just two soda cans dressed up for the prom, but she loved-loved-loved it. Funny idea, great execution, even a pun!
Gaga-Palooza made her LOL. Gaga is a somewhat, ahem, altered Barbie, but Gaga's attire and all the other figures were painstakingly made by the artist. The whole thing cracked the Human up, but I don't think I get it. I guess it's not a kitteh thing.
Okay Kitties, that's it for this time. Hope you enjoyed today's Not-A-Garden-Tour! Stay tuned for next time!

Spitty, your mom has some very talented students to teach. I bet her great teaching other subjects is why they are so artistic in artie class.

bonks for sharing

Very cool art stuff, Spitty-the-Kitty! Our mom is not artistic. Nope, not at all.

Dang it, we forgot to say thank you for checking on us and leaving sweet comments. Obviously we are ok. Well, that's not totally true. We're still neglected and about to be abandoned AGAIN, but we have a home and food.
