Hello, Kitties! A shadow fell across my happy day when the Human told me an unexpected visitor would shortly make a brief appearance at Chez Spittola.
I realize I cannot entirely prevent Other Humans from entering my comfortable abode (though I would if I could), but honestly, Spitty would like just a little more notice than 10 minutes! I mean, I had to scramble UTT just to wrap my mind around the idea: Would it be someone I loathe? Would it be someone who'd try to chase me down for an unwelcome tête-à-tête? Or worse, touch me?
As it turned out, the visitor never even crossed the threshhold.
But still, how many intrusions of this nature can I be expected to prepare for?

Oh, it's terrible, isn't it? We usually don't get any warning and Derry runs to hide UTB. At least this visitor didn't come into your home! Rumour has it that the mom's Mr. Handyman is making a return appearance in our house tomorrow, but Derry doesn't want to believe the mom could do something so awful...again.

But you look pretty darn prepared for anything Spitty!
Consider it a practice run, Spitty.
What is WITH this inviting other humans over thing? Do you ever see us kitties inviting other cats into our home (other than virutally)? Sheesh!
Jeez Spitty, that's terrible! Luckily the person didn't come in. You would have had to cause some havoc if that happened! Come to think of it, maybe you could have had a little fun . . .
I agree with Brain,
You are cool dood ! I believe you are well prepared !
Spitty, maybe you scared them away? xoxoxo
Spitty
I can see you were totally ready!
But you are right.
No one should be allowed into the House of Spitty without Spitty approval.

We think 24 hours (or 673 nap times) is the MINIMUM amount of notice a Human is required to give a Kitty.
And that is WITH said Kitty's permission to invite someone.
Spitty, at least you got some notice! Sometimes we never are told until the unwanted human is in the house!
I just hate aliens in the house, so I'm with you, Spitty. After all, these are our homes.
Doesn't matter, the answer is allus "unner the bed"!
They will always be coming. The idea is to make them go before they come inside.
I believe you are well prepared.
Spitolla, thanks for checking in with us. We hope to be back blogging soon. Our Moms are going through the "stages of grief" or something. Weepy, then reminiscing happily, it's nuts.
Hey, at least you get some warning before visitors. We have neighbors who like to just "pop over". Yesterday one of them actually picked Busby up! How insane is that?
Hey Spitz, I like how you was right at the table in your chair. I mean, what ELSE do they mean when they say 'We are having company for dinner?"
MOL!

Spitty, every action you take tells your mom who is the Boss. You. Spittola! I like a masterful mancat.

Spitty, not only should you get a notice, it should be in writing and you have to give it the paw of approval...(which of course would never happen!)
