Saturday Sulks

Kitties, Can we talk?

I have The Sulks.

Even though the Human is often the cause of great distress and annoyance, I have grown used to her presence over the past couple of months, and now she informs me that her frequent absences are just the harbinger of many more to come as "school" officially begins next week.

With whom do I file a complaint about this?

I would take it to the School Board, Spitty. They are bound to see your side of things and give her a half time work schedule for the same pay. (yeah, RIGHT!).
My female human gets until after Labor Day before her "school" starts again. And we will have the retired Dad here to see to our every whim. But I feel your pain, having experienced it every other semester. And summer has meant having TWO humans at our beck and call.

Oh oh. Not sure who you can complain to, but you could try to make your Mom feel guilty...well, at least guilty enough to have her give you more treats. :)

Spitty, we say complain to your Human, thusly:

1. Sleep all day
2. Harass HER all night

Poor Spitty! I used to teach and I always wondered how Sweet Praline felt about me being home for 3 months and then all of a sudden, I was gone all day long. It'll be okay.

Hey, look at it this way -- her absences will give you time to make some mischief!!

Dear Emo Spitty, you still look positively luminous today regardless. Just ignore her; she'll come round & most likely feel so guilty for leaving you looking all pitiful there will be extra creme, extra bbfood & (if you want) extra pets.

When my human is at school I get extra clingy which does not deter her from being gone more often. If you do come up with a good plan I might copy it to get more time with her.

Just meow at her incessantly, all the time she's home. Even if she's asleep. ESPECIALLY if she's trying to sleep. She'll get the message and start staying home more. Either that or she'll drug you. Whichever...you win!

Spitty, would you rather that her students come to YOUR house? Didn't think so.

Spitty, that just sucks. Make sure your human knows how much you hate this turn of events.

Filing a complaint is a very smart move. That might increase the level of guilt your human feels for abandoning you during the day, and make her spoil you even more than she already does. Well played, Spitty.

Oh Spitty you poor baby!!!!

Look at it this way, if your Mom goes back to school she will have more money for noms for you and you will have more time to sleep!

Hmmm, do you think the Missing Persons Bureau might be able to help? This should not be allowed. She should be home waiting on you hand and paw.

However, she does need green papers or you'd have to get your own job. Maybe her absences can be overlooked?

Spitty, you just need to find a hobby. We think think the plan about sleeping all day and staying up all night to keep the mom company since she will miss you too. Hope you figure it out. You are welcome to stay with us for awhile. Take care.

Complain to the school principal. That is unacceptable.

Sounds to me like you are going to have to start emailing her your complaints, maybe she'll actually read them!
