So yesterday, I left the Human at home and met my pals Peter (Savannah's Paw Tracks) and Kevin (Animal Shelter Volunteer Life) for brunch at a nice restaurant right on the bay.
We had an excellent time, just us boys!
Well, maybe Linda (Peter's wife) and my Human were allowed to come too. But *they* are just girls and thus were relegated to the other side of the table. I had a wonderful time. Peter and Kevin are both so nice and friendly. Plus, they each have two beauteous girlcats of their very own. Sadly, Savannah and Sage and Zoe and Gracie were not invited. Sigh. Maybe another time.

Aha! THIS is the life, Spitty: the Human orchestrating social activities to include you - indeed, to make you the centre of attention, with her relegated to social secretary and taxi service. Glad that you were able to catch up with some blokey mates. I hope you've already pencilled in a date for the next get together.

Spitty, I had such a wonderful time with you and Peter, and Mom Linda and your human, too. It was a great treat for me. I sure hope we can all find some more excuses to hang out together again soon! :)
