I got used to a certain amount of snugglings and pettings this summer. I purred for you, I settled in right next to you, I *thought* I was being a Good Kitty.

And yet, and yet, it was not enough. Do I have to beg for a return to those halcyon days of summer? Do you love school more than me? Well, do you?

I'm with William's Kith & Kin, I'm afraid, Spitty. It's not that your Human doesn't want to stay at home all day with you. No - really - trust me on this! I'm sure she'd love to, even though her behaviour over the summer holidays might have given you cause to doubt it. But ... your foods and toys cost green papers and she needs to go to work to earn them. Not a whole lot of point her being at home all the time with you without having the green papers to pay for your foods, is it?
Life is a compromise, I'm afraid.

She most certainly loves you more than school, Spitty. I know this for a fact!
Sounds like the perfect time to start a new habit... one that involves extra treats. You gotta make changing times like these work for you!

We know the answer to that has to be, "no." But if you want treats and noms, we are sure you are stuck with mom leaving you every day. Misty May says to let her know if you want her to come stay with you until summer vacation or at least Christmas.
