Friday's This & That

So, we are pleased to award a Pair of Prizes from yesterday's post & comments:

For correctly identifying both figures and concocting a brief-but-credible tale to explain their interaction, a prize is hereby awarded to The Mom from William's Kith and Kin.

For truly outstanding Epic Verse (even though he misidentified one participant) a prize for Poet Laureate of the Cat Blogosphere is hereby awarded to TBT of Mark's Mews.

So here are our Friendly Fill-In responses for today, courtesy of our furiends at 15 & Meowing and Four-Legged Furballs:

1. I believe my IQ is higher than the Human's.

2. I need to go Marie Kondo on my nothing. It's the Human that needs MK.

3. It does no good to ask nicely. You have to demand!

4. I find would like to find managing my staff to be a walk in the park.

P.S.  The figure on the right in yesterday's post is Ruth Bader Ginsburg, Justice extraordinaire. Her companion is Gus Fring, dapper but implacable villain on Breaking Bad. The small container, of course, is a bucket of Los Pollos Hermanos's finest fried chick-hen, perhaps with a sprinkling of secret seasoning, MOL!

Whoa! You come up with the best answers. I wish I thought of them. RBG is one of our heroes.

Oh, I agree absolutely that TBT shoujld be acknowledged as the Poet Laureate of the Cat Blogosphere. Indeed, of the entire interwebs don't you think?

As for your fill-ins this week, my comments are:

1. Well, d'oh. It's obvious to all of us that that is the case, Spitty. I don't think it's a matter of belief.

2. Marie Kondo schmondo. A pusscat simply doesn't need her for anything.

3. I'm very pleased to see that you're starting to take training your Human seriously. You've been asking nicely for the best part of 14 years and look where it's got you. Demand is the way to go from here on.

4. At this stage, I think you've still got some sizeable Human training/management issues to deal with, so it's likely to be a while before it's a walk in the park. Sorry.

Your fill in answers are the best I have seen! (I still think from Eric and Flynn's point of view on the blogs and probably always will.)
I didn't know who the characters were being British, but I thought that was a great poem from TBT.

We only recognized RBG, so our story, if we had one would not have fit the figures.
