Spitty's Saturday Sippy Time

So, the Human not only went to w-o-r-k yesterday, she then proceeded (without my permission, mind you) to go out to a fancy-dancy birfday dinner for her dear friend last night.
So, sometime around 1:00 a.m., I finally got my half'n'half treat. One in the a of m, Kitties! Can you even imagine such neglect?
Oh yes, I am hearing some of you protesting, "Better late than never, Spitty!" but I am having none of that nonsense. It was un.ac.cep.ta.ble!

PeeEss:  I am sorry we've been a little scarce for a couple of days. That might last until the Human readjusts to actually going to her J-O-B (which by the way she feels lucky to have in these recessionary times), instead of hanging around playing on the computer, watching DVDs, reading silly novels, and serving my every need all day.

I can imagine it, dood. I LIVE neglect like that. Like, WTF? People, just freaking stay home and fulfill your obligations to the cat...

Our Mommy works a lot too=the constant neglect of our basic needs is revolting, so we understand your situation all too well, handsome boy; maybe we should hang out together and figure out how to keep our Mommies in line??...Ok, we admit it, any excuse to spend time with our sexy Spitty :) ::winkwink::...Happy weekend, precious friend=stay cool and have fun!!...smoochies...Calle, Halle, Sukki

When you're right, you're right, Spitty! That woman keeps going out for a couple of hours EVERY day, even though I've made it clear that I want her to stay home, and watch me nap. What is the world coming to?

What nerve, making you wait. She should have come home, served you and then she could have gone back again - with a clear conscience for having done her duty.

Spitty,

We're glad she finally came home; and we think the wait was worth it! Half-n-half! We love it. It's good you're so understanding.

Thanks for stopping by Kittens 'n Things. :)

If your human is going to continue to neglect you like this, Spitty, maybe you should suggest that she stimulate the economy by hiring you your own personal part-time assistant, to pick up the slack, you know.

I like Sparkle's idea! I bet you would get lots of applications if the ad featured your tailio!

I think Jan's Funny Farm has it right, Spitty. My humans just cam back from a party right now - not the lATE sort like yours, but one that started really early. So we had to wait till NINE pm for our dinner!!!! Un-b-liev-a-ble!!

At least she didn't come home snockered or she wouldn't have been able to focus the camera. At least she didn't go away for a week like TW is going to do. These beans have no regard for us.

Spitty, waydaminit! Your human is supposed to cater to your every whim, not go out and party. Now the work thing she can't do anything about...she has to do that so she can afford to cater to your every whim. But going out and partying before catering to your every whim??? NOT ACCEPTABLE!! You must come up with a suitable punishment for her.

Spitty better late than never mine does not give me anything other than water as she does not want me to have an upset tummy. Half-n-half might not agree with me.

The human needs to go away to do her job in order to bring the treats home for you, Spitty. BUT coming home at 1am after a party is unacceptable indeed....even if it's once a year. :p

Neglect and abuse. That's wat it is. Now, if it was an ADDITIONAL feeding, that you woke her for, that's different. Keep her in line, Spitty. Purrs.

That was very norty of your Mom to go out to a parteeee without giving you your snack. Absolutely no excuses for that. But glad you finally got it. Hope you have one heck of a Sunday with lots and lots of snacks.

At least your mum came home. Mine has been away for days.

WOW, I'm really surprised you survived waiting that long!

I agree that it is completely unacceptable!
