And the Old Bat will take three days. Honestly, I was trying to be nice, cause she was so "busy" and "tired" and stuff. And look: It's Sunday night and we haven't posted since Thursday!
So anyway, you may notice that she made her goal of getting all the Crispmouse decorations put away before the Super Bowl. In fact, she felt smugly superior last night when she passed a house with all its outdoor displays still brightly shining.
I will be working on whipping her back into shape for the coming week.

I need to work on my momma too - she slacked dis weekend!
What on earth is it that is keeping her allegedly so busy and making her allegedly so tired? Surely she's got nothing else to do except respond to your wants and desires? Weird.

Humans. They sure do need a lot of snoopervising. Sheesh.
We have no doubt that you would do that Spitty. In your human's defense, our humans have not made a move towards removing that tree and the shiny things hanging on it. We are tired looking at it.

My human is not a slacker; however I think she does not feel her efforts are completely worthwhile. She just needs to work smarter, but try telling her that.
Humans are such work, aren't we?
CrispMouse lights STILL shining? Oh, that's just crazy! Though, what's around to whack if not those decorations? Are you saying spring things will be just as fun to nibble and bat under couches and the refrigerator? Yes, we're taking notes here.
Three days is not good enough! Be careful Spitty, she's trying to slip back into old ways. At least you have to give her credit for putting the Christmas stuff away.
Oh well, Spitty...you can only get so much out of a human, after all.
And I thought I was slow getting the decorations put away last week :)
At least she feeds you...doesn't she?
I like Christmas decorations. What amazes me is the people who put up their after Thanksgiving and its not even December! Wow!! No wonder they take them down on Boxing day ;-)
She needs to get into a system. Yes she is retired, but you have to have a system or schedule.
you should make her a schedule with everything she needs to do for each day Spitty,xx Speedy
Yeah for your mom getting all those decorations put away. Our mom got everything put away (except the tree) right after Epiphany. Dad has a cut-of date for her getting things put away...Ground Hog Day. But she missed it. Falling down the stairs has put her behind in her duties. MM thinks your photo is meowvolous.
